- Read 10 chapters of my Bible a day.
Status: completed regularly this month. Now, to continue. :)
- Do Project 365: take a photo a day.
Status: fail. Okay, I took 12 pictures. I was hoping for one a day, that's 31 pictures. So that's 38% percent success. That would be an F grade. So, yeah; fail is a proper summary.
I pick this resolution to pinpoint my efforts on in the next month. Okay? Hold me to it, please.
Here's today's photo, by the way:
- Work on my Latin.
Status: fail. Let's not go there.
That can be next months problem. Or the next. Yeah.
- Continue working on my piano skills and pick up the organ.
Status: Part 1, working on. Part 2, not yet completed.
- Finish my book.
Status: Put-off. I haven't done any work on it since the writing of this resolution, but I have a writing week planned starting the 14th, and another one over Easter break.
- Try wearing my hair in some way other than down.
Status: some success but mostly neglected.
Problem is I have no one to do my hair. So I'm stuck with the choice between ponytail or pigtail. But the other day I found a updo style that actually stays for over ten minutes. I'm going to try it again soon.
And, whenever my friends come over I recruit them to do something to my hair. This is proof from when my friend Katie came over last Sunday:
- Get well associated with the fashion world.
Status: continuing success. I'm still drooling over Elie Saab's spring collection.

- Blog more and comment on other's blog's more.
Status: some continuing success. Yayzers.
So, there you have it. Byes, peoples!

Great idea, Ellie.
ReplyDeleteI decided to not have official resolutions this year, as they just frustrate me, but I do have some.
One: read my 10 every day. Been doing better on this (due much to you. By the way, I read yesterday and the day before. Email is forthcoming.)
Two: read more books. I've started several good books, and finished one, I think. So yes, success.
Three: spend less time reading online. Okay, well, FAIL. I have spent waaaay too long online, and not enough in my math and Latin.
Four: practice my violin five days a week, for an hour each time. I've been doing okay on this one. It's actually a new-in-February goal, but is really applicable to the rest of the year.
So, my resolutions really have to do with what I'm feeding my brain. Time for a diet!
Oh, and your hair is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteAnd those clothes too. Just so pretty. mmmm.
I think you are doing better with your goals that me with mine! I have been a slacker!! :p Your hair is beautiful, that hairstyle is really beautiful.
